Are you sure they are 295's?? You are going to have to do some major trimming to stuff those under the fender. Asking what type of lift you should get just opened up a HUGE amount of responses!! Read this first to get you started: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/11282-tacoma-lift-faq-guide-read.html

With those tires you are going to have to go 3" lift plus, with some modifications to the wheel wells more than likely. More info is needed to give you a better answer....

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Are you putting these on the factory rims? Some rims are wider than others and this has small impact on fit, the bigger issue would be the offset.

    Anyway, you'll be at about 33.25 x 11.75

3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
A 3" lift will help out. Those tires are like a 33x11.5x17.

Many guys run 33x12.5 and have to do some trimming so I'm guessing maybe some pinch weld hammering maybe some spacers to keep the tires from rubbing on the frame, depends on the wheels specs also. Nice tires by the way!

i havent bought any rims yet. I was looking at the matte black XD hoss wheels. The guy at the shop told me i had to run a 6 inch lift to run these tires but i hope i can do a 3 inch. Im not sure how bad it will scrub so if you have any suggestions i would like to hear it.

I do know that you do not need a 6" lift.

Worst case you can do a 1-2" body lift after the 3" suspension lift.

Not familiar with those rims. If they don't have right offset you can always add spacers.

Needing a 6" of to run these tires is BS

You can clear them with a 3" lift and be fine. Just may have to do a little bit of trimming but nothing a big Hammer can't fix.
