    I'm guessing you mean one size larger than stock? 265/70/17 or 265/75/16?
    You can probably do that on stock suspension but I don't know for sure.
    Best bet is bilstien 5100s and an add a leaf then. If you click on my build thread link in my signature, you can see pictures of my truck with my first lift. With stock tires, and then with 265/70/17 tires.

    That's because that's a stock size tire :p

    Wow...it's been a long day!

    I am looking at a few different options for tires including 285's as well. Regardless, I'd still like to lift the truck up for looks, clearance, tires, etc..

    Toytec seems to have a few options for complete kits, not sure if any of them are decent? (OME, BOSS, Bilstein 5100 Height Adj. Coilovers?) And based on what I am reading, it would be best to do complete leafs versus the add a leaf option.

    What do you think installation would cost for these options?

    BTW....I like your build, nice truck!!

    3" FTW. Everyone gets the 1.5 and regrets it. Do it once and save money. Unless 1.5 is all you really want

    This is exactly what I would say.
    Also - you don't need any lift whatsoever to run 265/75/r16. They will fit just fine on a stock suspension and won't rub a thing.
    FWIW, lift does not = clearance - I'm pushing 35's on the same lift Josh just told you about. ;)

    Installation cost is just a case of beer and bring your truck to my house some day when I'm not working. I've installed a lift on quite a few trucks by now.

    Since it sounds like you aren't real sure what you plan on doing I think you should just check out a few local guys trucks first so you'd know what it's going to look like.

    Yep good advice.

    Quick question though, why does the $2,000 one not come with a UCA? Do you not need one? Would you lose articulation by not getting one? I have the Light Racing ones atm.

    Or maybe I am fine with my OME setup... how many miles are these things good for anyway?

    The counter steers are nice wheels. Not sure on the lift though, I have about three years on my mine and I am starting to swap some of the old parts. I do have the extended travel Icon rear shocks and I pretty happy with them so far I am hoping to get the fronts soon.

    I was on the site they look good, they don't have any switches for the center dash, under the heat controls and in front of the shifter. They only have them for left of the steering wheels. Why they're two diff sizes... Idfk :notsure:

    I have to agree with you, it may be best to check out some other modified trucks to see what I will like before deciding.
