I have done all the hi-pro mods for a life time, since I got this truck at a great price, I will be happy with showroom new.
the drought is nothing to kid about, but there should be a EL Nino this year, and it should change things! and no, you don't EVER want to go through a hurricane, no matter how much it has snowed, or the cold, or the big blizzard, its better than a bad hurricane.

Mike what do you have for your suspension lift? Everything looks awesome! Ian curious because from the looks of the front of your truck it seems higher than most 3-3.25" lifts.

That bumper is unique! Never have seen anything like that. So you keep the bumper on and remove the plastic valence and replace it with the tube and plate valence? Where does it mount to and how many mounting points are there?

Thanks !! nothing special Revtek spacer up front OME 880's with Billy 5100's all around with 3 inch blocks in the back. I installed the kit years ago before I knew about Tacoma word so I did not know better[IMG]. It's going on 4 years with it on no problems at all. I do plan on getting a real suspension kit some day [IMG].

Funny that you said that because I always thought the same thing maybe is because I have small tires 265's instead of 33's:confused: and a lot of fender gap my 5100's are set at 0 in the front.

Yeah it's different for sure. I just bought the truck fairly recently. I was curious about the mounting as well, it bolts into the frame. I was going to see about removing the valance and moving the bumper up but I won't be able to do that with the current mounts.

Shouldn't there be two bushings and 4 washers?
The three outers look to show the correct number of threads but I think your missing another rubber bushing underneath.

Or maybe 2 bushings and three washers.

Do you have a rubber bushing and washer underneath that top metal hat?
I'm trying to locate a diagram but I'm on my phone. Little difficult.
