I went to Hollister when my truck was stock with highway tires and did almost everything except the black trails.

I definitely miss living in Encinitas. But ya gotta go where the money is. Luckily I still have family there and travel down every two-three months.

I'm new to the board and have a stock 2014 Tacoma dbl cab 4x4. Currently have no experience off-roading but would like to join with my son and check it out. I'm just a geeky guy that lives in Gilroy, so it's only like 25mins for me to Hollister.

Anything a newbie should watch out for or need to know prior?
