    Yes, but also can protect your driveshaft as has been stated.

    You can get fancy with them like this, but I'm not sure how much room we will have on the drivers side with the fuel tank there...

    Mine is just barelly below the drive shaft so i dont loose ground clearance but its saves the shaft if i get to wild with it.

    Brady needs one cuz low rider:cool:

    Just make sure someone with a winch goes before you. No shame in trying and getting a little help. That is what starts vendettas with obstacles. Then you want revenge the next year after you have had more time to build your rig then go back and conquer!

    It didn't feel that bad actually, I've felt more tippy in other situations that didn't look half as bad. The approach angle probably made it a little worse than it needed to be, but it's a great example of what open/open looks like in that obstacle.

    Sure, it can be done and has been done before. Just make sure the group leader and others in the group are ok with taking on the challenge of getting you across it.

    Still driving the '92 4runner. I'll be getting a 3rd gen 4runner once we move into a house with a two car garage (fall/winter later this year). It'll be getting sas'd almost immediately as it will probably be 2wd when I get it. Since you can get those here in Denver for dirt cheap and I want to run passenger drop tcase anyways.
