Yeah, I'm no welder at all. You don't want me welding on something.

Ray is a very good friend of mine and came to me and asked if we (Dan and I) could copy my truck for him with a couple of changes. We said sure.

Our welder is Augostine. We hired him just for this project and Ray wants to work on his own truck as well.

I own a construction company and am out of the country some parts of the year. Rocksolidtoys was started to provide folks a place to ask questions and share what they have done without getting flamed from those other boards. It grew into selling Marlin Crawler box's after Marlin and I went to Australia to put the first crawler box into a new Hilux. From there people asked me if I could do 2wd to 4wd conversions and then solid axle swaps. I said sure but it would all have to be done on the weekends until if and when I opened a shop. I've helped on numerous projects that have come out very well and at this time my wife is trying to push me into going into a shop full time. It's my passion. These are just some of the projects I have been involved with in one way or another.

    Dans Tacoma.

Marlin Crawler install into an FJ Cruiser. I'll never do that again.

And many others. It's just something I love to do and I really like doing things other have not done yet and figuring out how to do it. The fj case conversion was one along with the twin stick FJ Case and the 2wd to 4wd conversions for these late model trucks.

It's been alot of fun, but the biggest part is seeing the faces of those that have taken the information that either I've provided or others on RST and have done their own. Thats what I love the most.

I do some of the work myself but the "guys" Just kick ass. Rays project has been done only 1 day a week on the weekends with the exception of last week. We worked both days on it. All total we have spent 22 days on this truck. Not bad for a complete build.

One well placed rock and your alignment is going to be fucked.... I would get some protection over those alignment bolts and tabs.
