i mean i'd consider that more paint than fiberglass... everyone seems to be commenting on how theirs is cracked and spiderwebbed. of course running through trees and shrubbery will give you a nice set of pin stripes... the paint on my rear glass is fucked cause it's so wide haha but hey.. prerunner problems right

My $.02 on the whole fiberglass spider cracking, my front dont have any but the inside of the fenders had spray bedliner and then rubber spray coated on the inside. I need to do the same to my rears.

True but that is why I showed it. Stuff like that happens almost every trip so its not something I'm going to repaint or buy new fiberglass. I understand replacing some, I want some new rear glass because mine are really square, but I want to give these a beating first :)

haha yep, can't expect much else out of an offroad truck. maybe i'll post some pics of mine, between the rock chips from everything thrown by my huge front kit, the pin striping and the cracks from before i remounted and solid mounted stuff, it might pass for 'decent' at 25' away hahah.
all of that is just the name of the game. i just didn't get why other people's glass was cracking, other than incorrect installation or a lack of support.
reminds me of my last trip in superstition, was drifting circles around cory when one of my bedsides fell off (forgot to tighten bolts when i put them back on) and i ran it over hahahahah. shit happens, but glass is pretty cheap and easy to fix. i have probably a 4" tear in the wheel well of my bedside from running it over, but honestly couldn't care less... that will be sorted after i finish designing and fabbing a new engine cage, finish the cab cage and gusset everything to high hell. function first, then form imho.
btw.. dope build thread, great work.

edit heres a pic of the crack and my terrible paint.. guess i drive a hoopty hahah

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Just to clarify, my glass came from glassworks with spider cracks. Just trying to straighten them up before getting them sprayed at one day or maybe just rattle caned. Think the bedliner idea might help with "some" of the chipping. But I'm sure they will be scratched up soon enough.

thats kind of a bummer, must have been from the molding process? either way fill sand and repeat, and that should straighten them right up. kind of a bummer there's not really much qc when it comes to glass though. good luck though!
and for the record, rattle can jobs don't look half bad. a few members on here have done their glass with it.

You know it's bad when your alignment is off....and you have solid mounted lowers. Steering wheel is at like a 45* angle lol

mine is fucked up from a few different things. from my tire hitting it. i did trim but it was already too late so that ripped the bottom mounts for the glass. re glassed, and just form the flex they broke off again.

i flipped my truck on the side, so the glass on 1 side was completely smashed and re glassed on the back to make it look okay.
i have lost the same bedside twice while in the dez
and the sliding into trees and taking them out in tight corners definitley doesnt help either

honestly most of my issues started out with my mounts.
if they were bullet proof from the beginning they would only be smashed from flipping it and from going through trees.
4 mounts/bolts holding on rear fiberglass is not enough if you drive like a race truck....

woops.. haha i have the same thing. but no corners.
    aerodynamic baby :)

lol i hear you on the wide rear glass. im the same way haha.

    no bueno sir
