I hope that I will end up using it a lot. I have a mountain property that will need lots of maintenance this summer not to mention wheeling.

If your gonna be pulling stumps with it, or anything that can shock load the winch, its a good idea to put some kind of damper in line like a heavy nylon strap or sumpin...

 

Just tie it around somewhere near the middle of the line that is spooled out?

Not to bring up anything uncomfortable oracle anyone feel bad but wuzzy is fighting cancer right now. I'm sure when you are in that position seeing people take unnecessary risks with their lives is different than when you or i see it.

 

Travis it's cool man, even if I wasn't I still would have said that. My wife would bring me back from the dead just to kill me if I died helping to pull a truck from the front.
I don't want to live forever, I just don't want to go out like that, I'm sure there are better ways then that to go out.

 

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope your fight is quick painless and extremely successful. But I didn't think that was all too dangerous, I'm not saying nothing could have happened, because of course accidents happen and can occur at any time. Kinda looked fun to me

Thank you. But so far it hasn't been very speedy, it's been 2 1/2 years with this crap. But I'm doing good. Most of the time you look at me you can't tell anything is wrong.

 

No one lives for ever and i bet you understand more than most it's not the length of life but the quality of it. And if your wife would bring you back to life just to kill you again then you got a good one. I say you make moab anyways cus factory tacos do just fine here and you will have many good times.

Very true... I had a stroke in 2011... while my "life view" didn't flip on it's head, I do have a little different perspective on things. With that video the part that made me cringe a bit was the guy pulling from the front and watching those tires spin...

but we all make different choices in life based on the cards we're delt. so I can only speak to the choices I'd make.

Mike (wuzzy), don't spend another dime on your truck and go to Moab. Your truck will do GREAT and you will be glad you went. Like ec said, it's about he quality and the experiences and Moab is nothing but quality experiences and opportunities to do crazy stuff with people to watch your back while you do.
Oh and konsta, I am just glad I not the only one who has foot in mouth tendencies. Yours was pretty harmless.
