Common misconception that some people's LCA skid plates provide actual protection of those parts is BS IMHO.

You're not going to stop the force of a 4,500lb truck with a measly gusset-less piece of 3/8" mild flat stock steel. If anything those LCA skids are nothing but a damage multiplier IMO. Bash a rock and see what happens to that steel.....yep....smashes right into the cam bolts and cam.

Not talking about lower control arm skids, just a wider belly skid. Even the stock paper thin skid covers the bolt and tabs.

First off I want to apologize for not being able to get on here sooner and clarify some things but unfortunenatly I had a dinner all night after work last night.

I go to re-reading some posts and realized some of my comments could be taken out of context.

I remembered that after the fact. It crazy what you guys spend in parts

I know you have a real job and that why I commented that the real job always get in the way. And referring to you as the project manager was a compliment ;) I would much rather personally be the project manager lol

I was also never critizing any of the work, just wanted that to be clear. I have seen all the work you guys are doing and its amazing, all those guys seem to do an excellent job and quick.

22 days is insanely quick! I have way longer that that in mine.

And I let me be the first to say anyone who swaps a second gen has a world of thanks in store for you and what you have done for us. The electronic things alone are amazing! The speedo fix Fjcase sensors for the dash lights to work to name a few.

I think you are the brains behind an amazing operation over there! Sorry if my posts were misinterpreted

Oh no. You were great in your comments. Thats the one thing I hate about the internet. It can't show inflection. I was smiling the entire time.

I just want folks to know that what we do here can be done in there garage or driveway, neighbors permitting of course :)

Take you for example. You've taken something I've done and made it better. Hats off to you. Thats what I would love to see. And now I'll benefit from it as well as others. I'm grateful for that and is one of the reasons I started RST.

Keep up the good work and I'll be contacting you soon on something else you've done on your build. ;)

Thanks Matt, I guess I'm used to the lights being black so I hope it just takes some getting use to.

I had them get me two new shirts for the job. The second one might just end up with a different patch over the company logo and become a fab shirt. :D
