I've been craving Quiznos lately. I remember there used to be a Quiznos on rt. 1 in N. Attleboro, and one in Seekonk on rt. 6. Looks like the closest one to me now is in Southboro, 20 miles away.

 

Quiznos to me is just more expensive Subway. We had one open up in my home town, but it only lasted about a month. Subway's cheaper and as far as I could tell the sandwich quality is comparable.

 

Yes you do. It's right across the street from the Uno's we went to.

 

I'm not a fan of quiznos. Not sure why, just never thought the sandwiches were that good. Subway is okay, I usually just try to find a decent local deli where I can get good lunch meat on a sandwich instead of the crappy meat those places use

 

They're both quality sub shops, but the selection is different. A lot of Quiznos locations closed because their corporation doesn't treat the stores very well.

 

x2. I do like the Quiznos subs a little better but wouldn't go out of my way to go there over Subway. I prefer places like Panera if I'm going the sandwich route.

Related note, have any of you tried the flat bread pizzas at Subway? I had them the other day and they're not bad at all. For quick, cheap pizza, i thought it was pretty good.

 

Interesting. Something about pizza from subway just isn't that appealing to me

 

Couldn't be worse than Dunkin Donut's pizza. Are they still doing that?

 

I thought the same thing when I went in but decided to give it a shot. If you think about it though, they're pretty well set up for it. They start with a flat bread, which is a great base for a pizza and what I do at home anyways, use the sauce from the meatballs that has been simmering all day, top with fresh mozzerella cheese, throw on some pepperoni and you have a fresh, single serve pizza in a couple minutes. I wasn't expecting much at the time but I saw it on the menu and tried it out of shear curiousity.

 

I have no clue, didn't even know they had that

 

That is what I thought when they started serving breakfast.

 

Anyone hear about the rubber compound found in subway breads?
