New FRC's! I got two so I might have to dedicate one to a fab shirt. I even have a shiny new patch to cover up the work logo. :D

It's a matter of overall weight distribution, especially when off road. The vertical rack is nice, but it will also put the center of gravity higher, so it matters even more to get it in the right place. I am not focusing on aesthetics, but handling characteristics.

I dont have time to drive out 4 or 5 hours just to wheel for 3 hour and drive back. Last time I went to alto was kinda last minute thing and felt like trying something different

plenty of ideas, but i'm still not entirely sure what dennis is looking for. does he want an actually swinging tire gate? just the tire mount? anchored to the bed, anchored to his bumper? ratchet strap tie down, or rabit ears? lots of clarification needed since i wasn't in on the originaly conversation about the design.

i will if i'm not in MD by then.

    indeed.

Both games are fantasy, one has more humor and the other is more dark I guess you would say

front or rear of the bed? offset to one side or the other, vs centered? you wnat the tire upright, or at an angle? oriented from side to side, or front to back?

Damn Dewalt batteries. Mid-way through drilling the holes on carrier plate for the lug studs and both batteries are dead, and my electric drill doesn't have a big enough chuck to hold a 5/8" bit. Guess I'll have to wait for them to charge.
