So if some of you have seen my other thread about a p0325 code (http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1st-gen-tacomas/318388-p0325-help.html) I got that put my truck in limp mode and had a loud pinging or knocking if it got above like 3500 rpms but idles fine. So I went ahead and changed the harness and both knock sensors, did valve cover gaskets, plugs and wires, pcv valve and hose. Got it all thrown together last night and its idled good while I was cleaning up the garage. It was 4am so i was headed to bed. I go to take it out of the garage today and its still acting like its in limp mode. If i give it gas it feels like it has no power and hesitates. When I pulled the plugs out it had denso K16TR11 but the TRD 7th inj calls for a IK20 which I bought and gapped to around .040-.043. The ultragauge isn't picking anything up yet but I haven't driven it either. Could I have the wrong gap? Im gonna go try and double check all my connections. Im just bummed over this I just got the truck and fell in love with it and a month later here I am, I've already dropped close to 800 on this in the last week.

Are you still running the same gas, when the problem started 10 min after fill up? (Last post)

Forgot to add in the weeks before I used sea foam and got the p0420 code for a little but it went away and a couple times I tried starting my truck It just kept cranking till I gave it some gas and it was fine but threw a TPS code I think it was I can't remember the exact number.

You might just have a bad load of gas. It's happened to me before. You said all this happened 10 min after fill-up.

Sounds like your truck has Low T.

Seriously, though, all this happened after a tank-up?
Wonder if there was something else in that gas you bought.

No, I didn't need to pull tank. Drained as much as I could. put 5 gallons in with gas can and some Iso-heat (red bottle) Ran it a few miles and then filled tank after that resolved problem.

What he meant by Low T, is Low testosterone...lol.

    Low T = Low Testosterone.
It was a poorly executed joke.

You also just replaced a bunch of electronic engine management parts; it may take the ECU a few minutes to adjust.

I called toyota and the guy told me to start at my first o2 sensor or bring it in. I think im gonna try the gas first then maybe take it in next week. I just dont trust the shops around me. He told me 85 to diagnose it but ive gotta trailer it 30min there.

Well I took the truck up the road tonight and it threw 2 codes a P0340 and P0351. Crank position sensor and Ignition coil A. Im gonna check the plugs in a few and see what happens. No go on syphoning the gas to, can I disconnect the fuel filter and pump it out the line?

Yes, you can. Find a suitable sized container, disconnect the fuel filter, and connect a hose from the filter to the container. Then use a jumper wire to shunt the fuel pump relay and it will pump your tank dry. Don't forget to have a 5 gallon can of fresh gas to add to it when you are done pumping out the tank. Most likely your entire issue has been bad fuel. Bad fuel can cause all sorts of problems with performance, as well as knock sensor codes, emission codes, and misfire codes.

Ok thats what i figured. Where is the fuel relay by chance, anyone know off the top of there head. I checked all the plugs and either tonight after work or tom I was gonna swap the coils around to see if the code came on. The boots on the coil were burnt a little on the ends I wanted to replace them. Toyota told me the coils came with the boots so I was thinking about just replacing the coils since the truck has 140k on it and I think they are the original.
