I could do jouralism i think..because i write like i talk. Or close to it, so its dripping with "voice". College papers kill me cause its not like that...so i do badly on them.

This is for the last article for TCT magazine.

Got a random call yesterday at our Ops Desk that a SERE instructor was stuck at 701D in Vedauwoo in a rented F150. There's nothing better then some unexpected wheelin' during your work day. Snorkel came in today as well.

So here are the pictures of my finger from Saturday.

Initial cut about 30 min after it happening. Cant see it in the picture but I could see the tendon/ligament thingy that bends the finger.

6 HOURS after signing in. This is when they injected the 5cc of numbing stuff and a Tetanus shot.

Sent me home with this thing on.

I didn't have the weird Japanese porn like contraption they had to wrap the gauze on so Vet wrap did the job (and a better job in my opinion).

This is a shot from earlier today.

Pretty gnarly little battle wound! Taco got the best of ya lol

That's a pretty nice strap Gage, i was thinking of getting a new one anyway since one of my friends tied a fucking knot into my last one when hooking up a vehicle last winter and i proceeded to pull and create a knot from hell. Those ARB snatch straps are nice but a little pricier depending where you get it. I might have to snag one of these.

Yep, tried them several times. Ran around in 2wd trying to get stuck but couldnt. Eventually made the truck dig a hole and used em to get out in 2wd. Then I actually got stuck haha. Would have been able to eventually get out if I was in 4low and did some digging. Popped right out without an issue though. Pretty sure these would have got me out of all the situations i have been in.
