That looks great! Can't wait to get my set . No sure where or how to mount them though. Probably just toss them behind my seat until they are needed.

Thinking about purchasing a cheaper pair of treads so I have traction for all 4 tires.

Thanks again for all the orders gents. I was able to confirm that the black units will be in later this week (along with the single red) and those will ship the same day we see them. So I think we're officially done on this group buy. The plan was from March 1-10. Thanks Kurt for doing this! Hopefully it was a win/win for everyone.

I was just at his shop about an hour ago and picked up my set of orange Maxtrax. He had all the invoices for the black ones and said they could ship in the next couple days. I'm sure he'll let you know.

 

Kurt's the man, I have bought stuff from him before. Always a great experience.

 

Went out and got myself stuck! They worked out great and took very little effort. I have video but not sure I will bother with uploading. Worth the purchase though!

Safety Orange baby!! Gonna be hard to lose these in the MUD. I picked mine up from Kurt yesterday and got them mounted up last night. I cut off the hilift mounts I had on my bedrack and welded on four adjustable pins. I'm using some rubber blocks underneath the Maxtrax and some rubber grommets on top to keep them all snug and rattle free. The pins allow for quick access too. For those that will comment about how easy they are to steal with this type of mounting, I have a cable lock around the Maxtrax and bedrack to keep them from walking off.

details of mounting pins. You would think I designed my bedracks to work specifically with Maxtrax since the legs of the rack are in the perfect locations to match the mounting holes in the Maxtrax. One more option to add to the bedracks.

 

I'll try to get to it before spring break. If not it will be a week or so until I get it up .

 

Update!

We received tracking for the black, solo tan and solo red on Friday which means we will have them in hand on Tuesday and should be able to kick them right back out the door that day. So for all the black orders and that tan and red sets, you should see tracking Tuesday afternoon and I'll be taking your money the same day too
