As you guys know... I got my truck as a gift from the Mrs back in Aug 05... BTW, Best Birthday ever! I started seeing modded 2nd gens around a year after. Soon... they were everywhere. I wanted to do something... but just wasn't really motivated. I'm not sure how I discovered TacomaWorld... but I did. I do know I didn't lurk long. God the photos... the chit chat... what an active fun group. I knew most were pretty young from both the profiles and some of the topics, but I couldn't stay away. I met up with Bandit at my place for some side rail steps I was selling. He showed up with his PreRunner and wife. He was very tolerant of my awe for his ride... and Amanda was all smiles. I thought "I can do this" and within a couple weeks I was down at Burry's for a meet. WOW... what a meet that was. Joe Joe's truck was getting lifted and there wer a pile of others there. There were Taco's all over his property. People were welcoming even though I was decades older than the guys there!

It's hard to believe how many whore'd parts I've picked up... and passed on in such a short time. What's harder to believe is how comfortable I've become around all you guys... and how close I've come to some. We had an emotionally tough day yesterday. After signing the employment contract... I sat with Alison (in the TW Garage) and the reality of the move really hit us. My family grew up here. We are leaving so much behind... and you guys... all of you are part of that.

From the bottom of my old ass heart, Thank you all for taking me in, helping me, teaching me, and for some, truly befriending me. I will most definitely miss you all!

My house is for rent as we do look to get back here. As Bandit has offered... I will too.... VISIT ANYTIME! Think Adirondacks', Glacier Park, Thousand Islands, Finger Lakes, Niagara Falls... all reachable from my "base camp" in Buffalo... which by the way, has the very best rates you'll find.

My Taco is now officially ready for the haul on the 20th. :-( VERY bitter sweet, but we gotta do what we gotta do. Family comes first.

Not only will I keep the numbers... but I will be lurking as well! The 4 - 5 posts a week in the NY threads just aren't going to fill the void.

Here she is... new shocks on the rear, MaxTrac spindles up front, front billies at zero, 78 Suburban AAL in the rear. Thing rides so smooth! She is such a whore... Aaron's rear springs, Bandits Spindles, one of Matts front Billies, Jakes Baja Rack and Awning (sorry), JoeJoes Rims, Someone elses UCA's (with Ben's ready to be installed next)... Burg's 885's... and bunches of Stan's artwork (and snorkel) plus so much more!
