first service, 5000 mile

Just had my first service and the dealer that I go to is AAA+++. They even rotated my tires, which where not stock. I had a leveling kit installed with over size tires. Fixed everything I asked and even checked for TSB's for my truck. My truck is up to date. Had some bird crap on the truck and they even cleaned it off. Top notch dealer: New Holland Toyota in Pa.

 

you're raving about an oil change and tire rotation?

 

From what I have read on here, I sure am. Sounds like a lot of guys have had big time troubles with there dealers.

 

My truck has 4500 miles. What do you think of going with synthetic oil? I am in Las vegas area, super hot in the summer. Worth the $$

 

Glad to hear! I almost bought my truck there be ended up getting a better deal at Lancaster Toyota.

 

What was wrong/broken with the things you asked them to fix?

 

He sorta has a point, a TW member was driving home after leaving the dealership with his pregnant wife/girlfriend (not sure), and his tire fell off!

Not to mention a few guys picked up their trucks from the dealers for a simple oil change, and the engines were knocking due to not refilling the oil

Just minor things, front passengers door needed to be realigned, was making a noise, brake pedal was sticking a little, plastic rivet on mud flap needed replace. My dealer told me all there mechanics are instructed to check for TSB's if the truck is under warranty.

 

We bought 5 vehicles from them over the years. At first they didn't want to give me what I wanted, but when it was time to leave, they came back with another offer. It was the only dealer that I went to, because I know how great there service dept. is. They even had a new vehicle owners party a month later, food, gifts and tour of the shop.
