holy hell   I skipped around until I found the twerk, since I didn't have time to watch the whole thing.

now it's time to toss it up on the projector and enjoy the entire movie over a 50 degree porter.

Well, it's all rumors till it's on paper. You'll just have to enjoy those neighbors of yours a little longer. Did you notice that the guy with the "found" welding hood was also the one using the uhaul?

hey Colin, I've got a question about your camera set up.

My reverse camera crapped out so I ordered a replacement. Now I'm starting to wonder about a front facing camera for self spotting while offroading.

I'm not 100% sure of my head unit's capabilities, but I believe I have RCA inputs for "video 1" or whatever option. So I'm thinking I should be able to connect the front camera to that and any time I change the head unit mode to "video 1", see the view from the front camera. and connect the rear view camera to the "rear view" RCA so when the truck is in reverse it displays that camera.

Sound like I'm going about this the right way?

So Colin, I tried reading your first page, and please correct me if I am wrong, but are you running 315/75R16 on factory gears?

if you do in fact have a separate rca channel, then what you just said should work just fine. however, make sure you head unit has a "mirror" function. being that the camera you'll be using is most likely designed to be a backup camera, if you face it forward, the image may be flipped 180 degrees. a mirror function will allow you to flip it to the proper orientation.

i'm on 17s, but yes, 315/75 on stock gears.

How is the power on highway and wheeling on 35's?

Highway: you will cruise in 5th gear, but to accelerate, or go up at any grade while maintaining speed, plan to drop down to 4th gear. it's good to actually shift it to 4th as well, or selse it will ride that halfway point between gears by working the torque converter. do keep in mind however, that my truck is heavier and less aerodynamic than yours, so you'll eb a little better off than me.

wheeling: Plenty of power. only thing to be aware of is that you have to be very gentle with the throttle when crawling, because even in 4-low, with stock gears, it'll jump forward pretty quick.

so really, 5th gear on the highway, and throttle control while wheeling at low speeds are the only things to worry about.

i'm not keeping stock gearing. they're only still in because i don't want to have to tear the diffs apart to regear, and then again to do lockers.
