That would be super interesting. I wonder how much work that'd be...I guess with enough time, money, and resources anything is possible lol. Then it'd really be Frankenstein..different generations and everything lmao

ive done measurements and other stuff..it should bolt right it really..ha same mounting points.

but the CVs are where it get super tricky.

If i can get my hands on a 2nd gen diff for cheap i might try it one day.

    Splines

They are different for cvs. 27 inner for use and 29 for 2nd gens.

And the diff is 1.5" wider per side.

So getting a cv the right length for a LT kit is the problem with the right splines.

Brady and I have chatted a lot about it. Think I'd just have to swap the outer knuckle of a 2nd gen to a tundra axle..or 2nd gen to a 1st gen axle.

    Oooorrr

2nd gen cv with a 1st gen outer knuckle.

    So..lots of possibilities. Haha

Tis a terrible thing indeed...it's bad when I find myself on YouTube listening to subie launch control clips for a couple hours of the day...god dammit I need to get back to work. Unemployment provides just enough money to make sure you can do absolutely nothing but pay rent and pay for fuel if you're lucky

    haha very true ^

if I were to get a car to keep miles off my truck it'd be something really cheap to fix and easy to find parts for, something really simple.

Well I guess I'd be lying if I said I ONLY want something to keep miles off my truck lol cause if that were the case I'd just buy the beater Chevy off my dad and fix it up.

But the taco is paid off, it's totaled, and costs next to nothing to insure so I'm kinda in the market for something a little more road friendly and enjoyable to drive. I'd be happy with just parking it and using it as a weekend truck truthfully. And dump some money into it when I see fit haha.

Everytime I have to drive more than an hour on the road gets to be a bit monotonous. Who knows though, I'll be starting a new job within the next couple weeks and I should be making some more money than what I was originally so we'll see what happens.
