    Hi,

Noobie, here. First post. Son has a new to him 2002 V6, 5 Speed, with the TRD offroad package, including the rear locker.

He's about to begin some "baseline" maintenance, including all fluids and filters, with a short deadline, and I'm helping with some details.

Do you need to add a limited slip additive to the fluid in the rear differential with this truck? I've searched quite a bit, and see both yes and no answers. My gut is tellng me "no" based on the searching, but could somebody confirm that?

We'll run Redline products in the F+R diffs, the TC, and the transmission.

    Thanks.

Nope if it is just the E- locker, no addative required. The only one that needs it is the limited slip diffs
