So here are the IROK NDs on a stock height taco. tire size 265/75-16. Hope this gives anyone who might be interested in these who doesn't have a lift an idea of how they'll look. BTW the road noise really isn't that noticeable. Pic #1 is a before shot with the terrible rugged trails. Sorry if some of the pics are sideways

    Hey Rob,

I went up to Gold Lake with you and John way back in November. How are you liking your tires? I need to get new tires before christmas and I was thinking of jumping up to 35s. Recommend those? John seems to be pretty crazy about his tires as well.

Hey whats up man - Yeah I really like them, they hook up really well and do great in snow too. If you don't wheel much, I'd go for something different though. My truck is seeing more miles off pavement than on. You might look into the MTR kevlars. The Iroks and the PBRs won't last you too long.

i took a chance with the Irok ND's. i read that they were a harder compound then the regular Iroks. During my internet research i came to the conclusion that i should get 35-40K out of them. i will be thrilled if i get that mileage. if not then on to the treadwrights. couldn't say no for $135 ea though.

Where did you find reviews? When I bought them I couldn't find a single review besides one on IH8Mud. That's why I started this thread lol. No way you'll get 40k out of these. I have 10k on them now and just hit the 4th step, they're gonna start wearing hard… BUT they are awesome tires. Not sure about the harder compound, seems the same to me.

I gathered 40k from numerous erroneous web sites and the guys @ 4 wheel parts. 10k and just hitting the 4th step doesn't sound to bad. If the wear stays consistent that should come out to the 30-40K range i would think seeing as how there are 4 steps total. like i said it was a gamble.

Update: Tires have 1200 miles and i have lost 3/32" also have tread separation on one of the tires. 4 wheel parts is taking them back under warranty and is hooking me up with a set of KM2s.

These tires wear terribly. I cant speak if the tread separation is a rare defect but i am not impressed. I will post a pic tomorrow of the damage tread. I hope my gamble and loss may save someone else a headache on these tires. :(

That sucks! I haven't had any problems whatsoever. Prob got a bad batch, as Interco seems somewhat famous for… especially with the Trxus M/T's.

My friend who works for America's Tire was telling me the other day that a customer ordered some 44" TSL's (yeah I know, huge tire and somewhat not comparable) and they were so out of round, someone at the factory literally ground down the 1'+ section of sidewall the tread overlapped to try and make it not noticeable.

Interco does have excellent customer service and they will swap them (as they better!).

This has happened with many other tire brands though. Shit happens, it just sucks ten times more when it happens to you.

Hey, i had to sign up here just because there is VERY little info about these tires, I own a jeep jk wrangler and i am thinking about gettting these tires in the 285 size. My yearly mileage is just under 10,000 miles a year. Its my daily driver but on weekends i go hunting. I drive slow and easy so that should help the mileage on the tires but is it possible to get 40,000 on these IROCK ND TIRES? Update me on your treadlife of them. Either way im gonna try them.

Mine are actually for sale now because I stepped up to 37's. I DD my truck and prob have around 10k miles on them and they are still above the 4th step (out of 6). You might be able to get 40k out of them? I'd lean more towards 30k though, especially if you're not driving them on the street everyday.

Antone else have any firsthand experience with the ND tires?

I am interested in any of the Interco radials even though my DD sees about 3k a mile... yeah I live close to work and have everything close to home!

    Thanks
