We'll see if I have room in the budget... Makes sense to do it, but I dunno if I can squeeze another 100 bucks into this project.

Love me some sound deadening. I need to do my back wall to deaden the exhaust some.

Look into some mlv (mass loaded vinyl). It is supposed to be fantastic for noise reduction. Much better than the closed cell foam I used. Do this on top of the sound deadener.

Interesting, I thought it was only used in home walls.

Just got an email from autoplicity, "your expected ship date is 4/4/2014, thank you so much for your order"

My reply was something to this effect... :brianr:

Not very pretty, but I welded a new 1/4 inch steel tab onto the caster adjustment. Still need to do the backside.

On vertical welds, do a series of overlapping long tack welds. The weld won't sag as much. It looks fine though. Wouldn't be surprised if it breaks off though if you didn't weld the back side though. That weld isn't doing much for anti-bend strength. The weld on the other side is more important since the force will be pushing on it.

Yeah, that was my concern too, I did the top and bottom of the tab to help in that regard.

It's too early in the morning I guess... I put way too many "though"s in that last post.

Anyone else besides Kurt thinking about going down to the off roading event on the 23rd? If Kurt says it's a go, I'm going. Should be a good time to test out the new mods I've done.

If I go, I'll just be a trail rider.

In other news, my wheels will be here Monday now, canceled my Autoplicity order because I couldn't get any information from their customer service. Called 4wheelparts and ordered the same wheel, said they were back ordered so they offered me an upgrade to Pro Comp 7089 for the same price and a free set of Pro Comp lug nuts. Very pleased with 4wp.

It's the 23rd, so if you want to go, mark it down. Hopefully it takes all day. I wanna get my money's worth of course!
