oh Bob, we're clearly witnessing the closest a grown man gets to the little kid christmas morning. :D I think we're all pretty psyched to finally see it all together too man! I might have to do the trd center cap too, though when I was looking at the dust cap on the front axles you might not be able to get them flush but close. Make sure you test fit!

dustin will also be doing some testing on his end for a good route to take with these wheels..so it should be good when we go that route..they may even snap right in to the FN cap...it's a two piece center cap with the removable center...so without too much effort, it can be mounted...won't be flush like the photoshop and the thread's version..but i'll play with the different options when the time comes

and yes....definitely a pre-christmas feel...especially knowing this is the last major change that needs to get done before being ready for the season...

bumper would be sweet, but not needed... and really won't be a change..unbolt, swap parts over and bolt back up..

just a lot of testing and small maintenance stuff before heading out in a month...

33 days til our first trip starts :D

:woot: cant remember if you're running spacers, which if you are then they'll clear being flush mounted.

I'm chatting with the bossman today hopefully about making sure i'm not hitched up on the reclamation job for Moab time. I really want to come! Is your lady coming? I'm not sure Jen is going to be able to come since that's like the last week of kids at school for her...

I wish this trip was one week later every year so that I could be there day 1. Hell, I could have made it this year if it was only a couple days later.
Bob, what do you think it cost you (besides wheels and tires) to mAke the switch to 35s? Won't happen for a couple years but just trying to see how I can do a little at a time to prepare to do that one day.

yup, kayla will be there..might have one or both dogs with us as well

she's coming along on a lot of the adventures this year which is awesome...i got her hooked on exploring new and unique places :D

she's a big reason why we're planning on spending a few days in beef basin exploring cliff dwellings and ruins while searching for petroglyphs :D

    1 BFH
1 way to cut metal (cutoff wheel, jigsaw, plasma, etc)

    :D

if the wheels don't have proper backspacing you'll need spacers to keep the tires off your UCA and frame

    and spare cvs :D

Well I think my wheels match the oem backspacing so not sure if that is good or not but they work with my 33s. Is the cutting for the cab mounts and fenders? Is there a good tall skinny size for 35s?

    before...

taking gateway/castleton then work our way down to the top of the world area for the night...

then high tail it down to beef basin the next morning and spend a few days down there exploring...then we'll work our way through bobby's hole and into elephant hill backwards...top off the tank if needed at the needle's outpost (at least a few gallons maybe), then hop on lockhart basin and work our way back to moab spending the night in the canyon somewhere. then off to BFE for Rock Therapy

you'd still need to cut the cab mount and beat the pinch weld area...just may not need to move the wheel out with skinnies..

interco has some skinnies... KM2 may have something..

you can also look into 295s/305s and go with 34s..

i told cooper while at SEMA they need to get into the 295/305 world

but i can toy with the setup while i'm at it and find a good route to go when i do make the switch

So I take it that you did the cutting for him? That is what makes it so easy to forget!

It was a combined effort and I will be getting my labor back from him in a few weeks when I cut up mine. :D
