Hey Guys, I posted this on the for sale but I figured I'd link it here. JL 10W3V3, box, 500 watt amp. I'll help install too (unless you're trying to wire to the stock deck, never done it and wouldn't want to experiment with someone else's truck)

I've got a question for someone / everyone. Do you know someone who does lift installs? I bought a 3" lift and a bumper at that off-road show last weekend and, honestly, I don't know crap about that stuff so I asked them for a quote for install. They want almost $700 to install lift and bumper. Do you know anyone who'll do it cheaper by chance? Thanks!!
Also, should I get UCAs? I have to call the place tomorrow to get specs on the lift. They changed it on me because something wasn't available and I'm not sure what they changed it to. I post info once I get it. Hopefully it's something good, I know it was $510 but that's it beside the fact it's an AAL and new coils.

Shouldn't be too bad of an install really best way is to have some guys with experience guide you while you get your hands dirty so you learn and know everything and also guided to make sure you don't get stuck wrenching is the best:p

Did anyone else notice that the black Heep on the cover of the latest off-road adventures magazine is the winner of the contest we entered at parking lot sale last year? Second and third place were JKs too! BS..

You may not need new bump stops if you can rig your stock ones onto the unbolt flip kit. I dug up my measurements, fully compressed, with the u-bolt flip kit bolts hitting the bump stop strike plate on the frame, I measured in at 16 1/2". The 10" 5125s are at 16.14" collapsed, so you should have no problem if you reinstall the stock bump stop. And that's a nice parts list!

Da part number da bilstein rep gave me at truck fest is BIL 33-230351. According to bilstein website these are 26.4" extended an 16.1" collapsed.

Interestingly to see how many soft-toppers are in that video.

Yea.. Now all you need is your sliders.. lol.. :spy:

Yep.. Just give a little bit of lead time. I'll be down as well..
Hey Brandon - How are those mounts coming along? Someone on your thread suggested guessting it. Not sure what exactly that entails...

You actually may need a set of blocks as well or even custom rear leafs.. If you gonna do Maxtrax as well as 885/886, then you gonna definitely need more rear lift.

See the above as well.. There are rear billys that are for 4"+, and a different ones for under 4". If you gonna piece over time and add, I believe that you can do the 4" ones, but may need to modify your bump stops so it doesn't over compress.

Da expos actually give a 4" lift. To get a 3" u need to keep 4-500lbs in da rear. But i might jus throw a 1" block jus for good measure.

Da 5125s are da universal shocks. Da bilstein rep recommended these.

You guys are awesome!!! The parts come in on the 28th. Is anyone available that weekend (29 and 30) or the following (Apr 5 and 6)? I would much rather do it myself with extra hands and guidance than fork over $700.
I'll get the info and post here to make sure I have everything I need.
