I would personally make sure you get everything in-hand before setting a date. This is an Island and shipping (unless UPS) can be a day or 2 later. Better safe.. Also, where you planning on doing the install? You have an area/garage/work area?

Truck will be sitting for a week.. Have someone house sitting, but truck will be there if you want to measure, etc. PM me I'll give you address.

I have one of two places in mind. My garage where we could put whichever end in that we are working on and I can plug in a giant fan for air. The other is at my work where there is a covered area we can work under. The only thing with that is it's on the CG base so I'd have to escort anyone on who doesn't have access. I'm thinking my garage.
I'll wait till I have the stuff to set up a date then. Probably mid April time frame. I'm in training at the start of April.

looks like a pretty sweet setup

I haven't really heard of many people having problems with either ubolt flip

A lot of guys just re-use their stock bumps, and set it on the ubolt plate

best way to check is to go flex them out and see if you need longer ones
I kept my stock bumps on my expos

unloaded I'm getting 4.3" of lift from the expos

You should be fine with 10" travel shocks with them too; I've wheeled them the past two years with no problems from my 10" 5150's

(same as the 5125 just with a piggyback resi)

Nice list. Looking at something similar myself. Minus the 885/886 coils tho. Keeping it at 4 in the front. And subbing out the expo for the standard leafs. Guessing ur looking at a 6 inch lift for the front?
Btw are the 5125's the only shocks recommended for 3+ inches of lift for the rear? Or is there a different model 5100?
Looking forward to your finish product man.

any shock that's the right length will do

5125's are exactly the same as 5100's and 5150s, just that they come in more lengths

I'm running RCD Bilstein 5100s in the rear with a Dakar pack, so far so good. I don't go off-roading though.

Thanks guys. Yeah I was a little confused about what billies to get for the rear. Good info. I know more travel is better for off reading but does that also mean better ride quality for daily driving?

Gonah set my 5100s at 0 since da springs already give it a 1.6" lift. I like having da back higher. Das y im thinking bout maybe throwing a 1" block along wit da expos.

you gotta make sure you get the right length for what leafs you're running

but length doesn't affect ride, that's all in the shock valving

5100's are split digressive, so they're firmer than stock. Tightens the truck IMO

From what I've learned on this forum, I think the following springs provide the amount of lift below, give or take depending on truck configuration:

    Eibach - 1.6"
    OME 883 - 1.5"
    OME 884 - 2"
    OME 885 - 2.5"

Just making sure you purchase the right springs, since you previously stated you were picking up OME 885s or 886s and you were looking for an 1-1/2" of lift from the springs.
