Rich, One of the pics at end of chapter 3 shows a B-24 with "Box D" on the tail. We were assigned to RAF Mildenhall from 1994 to 2001. 100th ARW descended from 100th BG. KC-135R Tankers there carry the Box D. Really enjoying reading your thread ... On to chapter 4.

    That is very cool!!
I'm re-reading some of the new translations that Mark sent me. They are adding new material and pictures and updating some of the things in the new book.
I enjoyed ch 4 a lot because that's when these guys all got together for the first time.
Still no word from the publisher.

Lol. When you said you got assigned right out of the gate, that's what I thought you meant.

Took me 10 mins to load this part and I've been sitting on my ass since 11:20pm, surfing the net on my phone.
I've literally see 2 people tonight. Lol.

Nah, on nights most of the time I don't get a job until midnight or later. Tonight it was right at 8. But then found we don't have the parts stocked locally to accomplish the reapir so I'm on hold.

Read Chapter 4 this afternoon. AWESOME!

    Yes you did. :p

Slow. My Proby is training a couple of active duty airmen (they are being deployed to Load Planning positions). I'm supervising.

 From having something to do ... to awaiting parts in a flash. Yep, you work with aircraft.

Made the post below in the Garage a few days ago. I really do wonder how much time I've spent waiting for planes to arrive. ;) \/\/\/\/\/
