I only say that because that's what Noah and I did for Jace when we last bashed together. After I dug out ruts 12"+ inches deep his dura tracks even had a hard time!

I'm going to take the time on Saturday and change out my ATs for my mud tires. I have my mud tires on steel rims so it shouldn't be too hard, but I know I will be taking a lot of brakes being kind of sick.

I have nothing going on saturday but gun shopping. (looking for a new handgun) and the wife is working all day. Let me know if you want a hand.

I am on craigslist now looking for last minute new tires. considering some 255 75 17 KM Mud Terrains off a Wrangler.

I would really appreciate the help, would you like some help pistol shopping? I don't know too too much about guns, but I know how to fix them and I have 6 armorer Certificates, Glock and Beretta being 2 of them. I was going to school to be a gunsmith till I had to do radiation therapy.

No problem I will PM you my #. I have been looking for a while now for a handgun. Want a .45 Glock or Beretta 9mm M9A1. I was told by a Navy guy I work with to check out Pawn shops. Seems sketchy to me but he said they have killer deals. I just dont know any good ones in the Springs, but I know there are alot of them. Its either tires or a gun this week lol

Man I wish I had the money to be able to say that.
I have heard about pawn shops and guns, hopefully you can find one that doesn't know what they have and you can get something great for cheep.

2009 4runner sport calipers. They BARELY clear the 17" rims I am running now.

    Thats my thinking.

I just adopted/rescued a 1 yrd old American Staffordshire Terrier. He is a good boy but still working on some bad habits the old owners never addressed.

Be sure and let me know if you're going Travis. We can run down there together. My map is not showing me going through the springs either...

Sounds good man. The trails down south look like more fun, but if my wife and kids come with me that is too much time in the truck, so if that happens perhaps you, me and pool stick could do Bunce Road instead.

That's a thought... I did run Bunce on New Years though and it was just like running a dirt road. Then Ironclads was almost impossible without winching. I didn't go down the plane crash trail, but from memory parts of it were very tight which would make it tough in the snow.
I hear you about the drive. It mapped out at almost 3 hrs from my house which typically means 2 to 2.5. I'm still leaning that way though. A trail I haven't been on always gets an extra point or two just for the new factor, and it's closer than chinaman gulch which was one of the best times I've had wheeling the Taco
