He does workshops and is a great teacher.

Totally can't believe how much he's made available for free.

    +1

I store everything locally at 100%, but 4608 x 3072 is a bit large to be emailing, and I've never had anyone complain when I've sent them an image that's 2304 x 1536 (and that takes it down to a couple of meg).

I'd rather downsize than export at reduced quality.

I don't export at all anymore. Only have original RAWs.

I just export directly to Flickr through LR. No local files needed. It's awesome.

    Sweet photo TJ!

Which ones do you have? I've been considering getting a few. Do you find any limitations with them? Anything you would do different if you bought again?

I don't notice much in the way of limitation. I see some people complain about color and flash duration at lower power but it hasn't been a problem for me. I have B800 and B1600.

If I had to do it again, I would get the Einsteins. If only for the better control of the light.

What do you think about the B400's?

Don't have one. But my thought was the 800/1600 would be better choices since you'd always have the maximum amount of light.

I recently decided to try out the Canon 40mm 2.8 pancake lens. I gotta admit, for $200 it's one hell of a lens. Just need to see how durable it is with heavy usage.

Used it today on my 5d3 and a Canon riingflash.

i decided to keep it... i got it during that Amazon price war and my local camera shop price matched the internet price, so I decided to keep it...

i use it for offroad racing pics now since it has that weather seal in it...

i still feel that way... i have a 5d2 and a 5d3 and have been full frame since 2005 so i am spoiled, but the 7D is great out at races...

i just got word that Calumet went bankrupt and has to liquidate their inventory fast...

if anyone has access to them, might want to start stalking the stores...

their website got taken down and their employees locked out with no warning...
