You all crack me up lol

I don't unfortunately. A friend of mine trimmed them for me while I was out of town but I know he used some of the threads on here in how to do them.

    What I do know:
He used a cut-off wheel on an air grinder and a debuting tool to clean up the edges. The sheet metal fender was cut a little larger than the flare to hide the edge a little more.

What kind of retrofit are you going with? LS460R perhaps? :)

What up Sean! Dude I've totally scratched out the wrap idea....quite literally actually :/ last weekend proved it would have been a nightmare had I wrapped the whole truck. Not sure what to do now:/

The wrap will not hold up against brush unless you get the upgraded protection wrap that usually only comes in a clear haze. The clear protection wrap gives the existing paint a matte color, but from what I've heard doesn't come in any color, just clear.

If you're taking that truck through any tight trails the wrap will for sure get destroyed. If you really want the military theme going on somewhere what about a military design on one of those large back window stickers that are perforated so you can still see out?

yeah man I've really been reconsidering but I didn't know anything about this clear protective wrap! I did do some tight trails this last weekend and I purposely put some stickers on the bedsides to see how much they got scratched up. Sure enough they were pretty bad and my tailgate has some bad scrapes just from brushing up against it covered with dust :/ I'll look into this stuff tho for sure.

Bummer it didn't turn out the way you wanted it to. The quotes seem to be pretty consistent around 3.5-4k for the clear one though, a little too pricey for me.

    Thanks Chepo!!

I have gotten pretty lucky for sure. Toyo put it on the IG and FB twice now. Method Race Wheels posted it also on both. FrontRunner Outfitters has given me a lot of love also. I feel like a celebrity when big companies post my build lol

No clue yet, I haven't researched them really at all yet - I just know I want something at this point lol

This was the funniest shit I have ever read lol I seriously might have peed my pants when I read this - I screen shotted it and even sent it to some buddies lol

You do have me nervous - but I think I would rather scratch the vinyl over scratching my paint and just replace the messed up panel if its bad enough. Stop scaring me ok lol

Don't mean to scare ya man, out here in AZ were are notorious for pinstriping and it's gunna happen on 90% of the trails we usually take :/ i dont wanna spend money on something that yes can be replaced, but would have to be in big sections/panels. Paint can be waxed or buffed after most the stuff I've been through, especially from that last weekend, and be totally unnoticeable.

My wrap did scratch from just accidentally brushing up against it with my waist while it had dirt and dust on it from the trails

I haven't seen much scratching on my tailgate :notsure:. I have smash things in it while opening and closing and it did tear a bit. I just rubbed it flat again and probably would have to look closely to see where it was. I am going to take it off soon to see what it leaves behind residue wise. Before I do Ill just take a branch and scrape it up to see what happens. This stuff is a lot thicker than any sticker I have felt though.
