I think a majority of the wildly different times were FoCo people doing the math and me looking from Longmont. Also the difference in end points (Springs, vs trails, vs Deckers).

I agree though, we could hit Rudy's in 2 hours because traffic will be nothing at that time on a Sunday.

So the FoCo group needs a meeting place and a departure time. Chuckie Cheese worked well last time and has a gas station and Prospect gets us to the highway fairly quick.

The Denver group needs an approximate time we will be traveling through and a location to jump in line. Does anybody in this group have a CB for a heads up?

And now we're good going straight up I-25? Or do we veer off somewhere in Denver? Either way is fine with me.

Possibly the most important question, does Rudy's serve food in the morning? To go? BBQ pork sandwich for breakfast sounds pretty good.:hungry:

We can totally do Prospect and College again. As usual I will need to get gas...

We get off of I-25 at W Fillmore St, which is exit 145. From there we go straight until we hit Rudy's.

    We would be going past S 470 around 8:23. N 470 around 7:45. I-25 and 119 around 7:30. All times are +-5/10min

I do not have a CB, but I think BDN does.

So the GPS deally had me going down 285 and CR126 and was calling it 2hrs50min from Firestone.

Turns out the wife may be spending Sat. eve in the Springs and so I may go that way to drop off either of the kiddos who don't want to go wheeling.
GPS deally says that route is also 2hrs50min.
I'm sure I could meet the wife at Fillmore so if that's the caravan route I'm in.

Something's messed up with the timing in this post... I-25 and 119 should be the earliest time. Maybe 7:30?

The last time I remember traffic on I-25 through Denver being nothing was the blizzard of '97 I had a '69 Bronco on 33s and had the highway to myself with 2 feet of fresh powder. First tracks!

I know you didn't mean "nothing" literally, but I honestly don't think you can ever count on making that entire run at the speed limit anymore can you?

Hey guys. Figured I'd let u know that I partnered up with an auto broker that specializes in Toyotas. We opened a shop on santa fe and union (basically belleview) I am a full service ASE Master tech, diagnostics and repair. $60 an hour and wholesale parts prices for TW members.

Its 45 min from my house to yours. Takes me 30 minutes just to the interstate lol.

I'm thinking a little extra time won't hurt. Better early enough to refuel, pee, grab food, the random lane closure due to accident etc...FoCo group plan on leaving prospect and college may be at 6:30--6:45?

Does your truck not do the speed limit :) me living right off the highway helps. Because I drive to my parents a lot and the only time it takes me over 2 hours is if there is heavy traffic. But yes leaving early is a good idea.
