How did you like the Dyn 8"s? What RMS were you providing them?

 

They dyns were pretty good in the doors. I didn't seal the doors, yet they were still pumping out some good midbass. Had I sealed the doors, i'm sure they would've been awesome. I was giving them 150 watts each from the JL Slash 300/2 amp.

 

Thank you for the reply. I am interested. Damn, I'd like to pick them up just to hear them. I have some system alterations to do before I could pull the trigger. I will keep you posted.

 

Alright, just let me know. Most people just want to put in a 2 way component set with a simple 6.5" and tweeter. When they see that this is an 8" woofer, they shy away. If I were to get another Tacoma for my personal use, i'd install the dyn 8" woofers and get a full range 3" driver up on top by the dash. That way, most of the issues with crossing over and different drivers are gone! Imaging should be pretty nice as long as I can install it correctly.

 

What is the lowest you'd go for the JL 250/1?

 

I am running the Hertz Mille components and I will absolutely not part with them. I would incorporate these into the door in addition to those and add a midrange to the set up as well. Fabrication is the biggest obstacle as I already have the ML1600s custom mounted.

 

I never heard those Hertz Mille's, but always read good things about them. Got any pics of the custom setup?

 

Why not just offer me something instead of asking what is the lowest i'd go...Shipping will be whatever it costs to put in a large flat rate USPS box. I think $18?

Yes I'm watching this one thinking crazy thoughts of upping my plans for a '13 TRDS I just bought.

 

Interesting I just picked up that same Dayton HO 10" for a trunk corner enclosure in my 08 civic Si sedan.
