    yes that is correct....
it was this guys first engine cage, he paid attention to detail for the most part and made it so i can access everything.... besdies the dam upper control arms.
the down tube goes down to the top of the frame like 6 inches away from where the uca bolt is supposed to come out.. tube gets in the way. it sucks.
i dont know if i should sleeve a new tube on there with a bend to attach it to the side of my frame.
i really need to get my ucas off as i need new bushings. there is quite a bit of play.

    tee hee:anonymous:

unfortunatley that was the one thing he missed. the guy that did it is an awesome fabricator.

he really hooked me up on the price since it was his first engine cage.

well when your bushings go out, you can either grind down the weld or cut off the bolt and get a new one.

are you still using the coil bucket to mount the coil? if not run 2 bolts for the upper.

i left half the coil bucket there. height wise its the same, i just shaved it down so i could fit the coilover past it.
so i cut it down, boxed it, and ran a tube from the top of the coil bucket to the engine cage.

i guess i could just cut off the whole coil bucket and re run the tubes for the mounts and run 2 seperate bolts....

Is anyone one here running a 2nd gen Taco with Camburg 4x4 LT with coilovers, bypasses, and bumps? I'm starting to think I may have gone over kill by ordering the bumps if I plan to later on add bypasses.

    *hydraulic bumps to be specific.

alot of people use the 3rd bypass tube as a bump zone.

but with an actual bump, you can use your 3rd bypass as a bypass and not use it as a bump zone.

it will give you more tuneability

and if your running a LS1, that is heavy, and i think you made a good choice.

I figured, just need to find someone to tune it down here once I finish installing all the bumps, rear bypasses, and eventually get the fronts.

Lol I wish the Taco was LS1 even though the supercharger does make up for some of the needed power
my Silverado was the LS1 powered prerunner, now it's turning more into a 1450 race truck

You want a bump. You do not want to depend on the bypass or the frame as the bump.
    Looks good:D
