The motors are noisy. All aluminum. Everything echoes. When cold even worse.
Mine pounds when cold. It won't...

Nothing is perfect. Some are going to have issues. It's mechanical.
See you tomorrow night. Sat shift . Need my beauty sleep.

    Hi Susan.
I'm the same...My airbag light came on shortly after I got the notice for the spiral cable. Keep putting off the seat belt.

 I guess I should get that one scheduled. Thanks Mike.

Morning all:wave:...got all three recall notices numerous times so I guess I should at least get 2 of them done. I don't have any problems with the gas pedal with the weathertechs:D...I just hate taking it in to the dealership...they always try to find more problems that don't exist to get more of your money:eek:

    Morning Ken.

I'm with you on avoiding the dealership. Plus for me it means an undesireable trip into Anchorage. I get antsy when I have to go farther south than the Base.

Probably need to get that seat belt thing done...I've been procrastinating that one pretty bad; at least a couple months now.

If it makes ya'll feel any better...Winter showed up here again. It's been snowing since last evening. Looks like 6 inches or more so far and still coming down. ;)

:anonymous:I like my 2007. But I loved my first one; 1981 SR5 5 speed Pickup. I bought it in 1983 when I graduated HS and ran away to join the Air Force.

Hmmm ... I have the two Certified Toyota Techs telling me to get it done.

I can take a hint ... I'll call in the morning to get it scheduled.

    Evening all:
Those two Fords are amazing finds. There's plenty of stuff stashed, and more and more people looking for it!

Out on the ice again this morning looking for perch, could only manage one small pickerel. :notsure::eek:

Good thing you're not depending on ice fishing for dinner. ;) Hope it was a nice day out there. Beats sitting on the couch. :)

    Evening people's
Pretty good day at work considering.
Had a 2010 tacoma come in for a drivetrain vibe. REAL BAD VIBE.
At 35 it would vibe the whole truck and make the bed drone.
The guy had this problem for a while.
It was a vibe I had felt before with a defective joint.
    Had the start,stop thunk.
So with all the stuff going on I had a new shaft in stock.
    Took it all away..
I would not have driven this truck. It was that bad.
But this guy was real cool about it.
    He couldn't believe the difference.
Thanked me like 3 or 4 times.
Once in a while your appreciated for want you know and not what others assume . To bad it's so far between . He had some other " mechanics" look at it. And they couldn't figure anything out.
I didn't drive this thing more than 100 yards.

Nice to make someone happy that doesn't have the asshole mentality coming in like most people. So for the first time in about 4 months I felt good at the end of the day. I'm sure Monday will be back to normal (sick)... But for now I'll allow myself to feel a little better than dirt..

Coming together rather nicely. Still need to load MS office and migrate a lot of data.
