I got a text from Mike (mcote) while we were waiting for our table. He had a very nice view during dinner.

 

so speakin of pictures of trucks, one of the SOFs (Supervisor of Flying, which is an officer from one of the squadrons that flies) that came to the tower today...had this monster....and of course I parked my yota next to him

Yes, but i already olknow it would t fit in there straight. So i figured if i could tuck the nose into the corner it might fit. Darn near did too. I could have jacked the rear end and pushed it to the right and it might have fit.

saw a truck i remember someone building in clearwater beach today,

white double cab, black fj trd wheels, front grill blacked out, with red emblem

 

ok, so I have no idea what is causing this noise when I brake. From what i have seen when this happens, it only happens after it has rained and the first time driving my truck after an extended period of time, ie. when I drive to work in the morning, or after my work shift is over and I head home. but once I start driving her, the noise goes away when I start braking again.

Am I the only one that finds Florida too distracting to get serious work done on my Tacoma

 

Maybe Jason will chime in but mine does it every now & then in the morning & the dealer says it's rust on the rotors from the moisture in the air & when you hit the brakes the first couple times it wears it off & then the noise stops.
