How long is this good for? I VERY much want to go with Icon C/Os and Rear Resi shocks when I do my lift, but it's going to be several months before the money is available. I plan to do front C/Os, rear shocks, rear AALs, UCAs, Diff Drop, Swaybar relocation, CV driveshaft, wheels, meats, and regearing all in one fell swoop. Potentially wheel spacers as well. Hence the expense.

CV Driveshaft. Constant velocity. To prevent vibes.

Good to know about the sway bar brackets. It and the diff drop are both only about $20, so I dunno if I'd call it big money, but thanks for the info. I'm back and forth on the diff drop...some people say it lowers CV wear, others say no. I'm tempted to agree with something Chris4x4 said in a thread a while back...that 1" drop translates to very little over the width of the vehicle.

YGPM. One-piece driveshaft. I said driveshaft from the start. I'm not talking about CV boots.

YGPM again. No, it's not CV from factory, but it *needs to be* if the vehicle is lifted. This is what I'm getting at.

CV Boots? you mean CV joints? Boots go around the joint to protect it from dust, no reason to get new ones unless yours are bad.

I would recommend getting a manual on the truck so you can learn the name of the actual parts. I'm only trying to help so please don't take it the wrong way, it will just help you get your points across better if you do.
