I cheaped out and did the $40 Wall Mart special, I just didn't have deep pockets when I needed to do it. Can't really see it, but my spare & fishing tackle are sitting on it. There is room on each side for two 5 gal. gas cans & two 5 gal. water cans.

Yeah, the police can tell you to open anything on the vehicle. ;)

Then they might write you a ticket.

Did the Burger King have a "No parking" sign anywhere? If so, then they can give request the police to give you a ticket.

From what I've heard, the Husky toolbox's are great!

    Looks great!

Do you know if they make a slim one like yours, but in a low-profile? BTW, where did you get yours at? Thanks.

I got it at lowes for $148. I'm pretty sure they have a low-pro one, not sure about the slim low pro though. Might check the website.

    TacoNut,

Can you tell me which model tool box that is and how wide it is. I'm interested in a narrower box for my double cab.

It's the Kobalt 1000 series (compact slim line i think) The only measurement I remember is the widest point (lid) was 61.5".
Let me know what measurement you need and I can get it tomorrow.

I'm looking for this style box for a 2009 Tacoma DoubleCab with a longbed. I know this is a UWS low profile, but does anyone know the model number of this style (esp. one to fit a 09 Tacoma)?

Thanks, I was just looking at S&M's website and thinking of stopping by there to check it out. I forgot about them when I got the nerf bars and bull bar. I went to Topper King, because it was on my way to work (in Pinellas Park). I have friends (all have Dodge Rams) that recommended S&M.

Sweet. Looks like it will fit under my Tonneau Cover. Do you have a model # for that one?

No, i don't. Sorry Werloc. But it's in all truck catalogs that you can order from, if that helps. They only have like 2 models for the tacoma anyways.
