Let me make it clear for everyone so there is no going back and fourth!!!

American Motorsports has great products. But as of the last year there Quality has gone Down hill. When a small shop starts to get work in and you see the Money $$$$ shit goes to your head as it did to Brian.

He was once know for Great Products and installation that was done great. As soon as he Gets an idea to do something and he starts promoting it then everything does to shit. As for the 2nd Gen kits when he was telling everything about them they were not even design or sent to the cad guy yet. It wasn't till about 3 months till he moved shops that he design the prototype kit for the 2nd gen Tacoma. He lied to everyone to the faces about the kit in order to pay his bills and get deposits for these kits.

He got the kits back 2 months ago from the Bender and laser cutter and there was big problems with the Spindle and Upper arm. He did his best to resolve the problem but it takes time. Sorry to be ranting but its about time to tell everyone the truth. For him saying his 2nd Gen kit pulls 21" is true but with a 12" coilover and alot of modifications to his spindle and upper arm. His kits pull 18" with 10" coilovers with again modifications to his spindle and upper arm. For him not to tell anyone that his cad guy messed up is wrong of him. Nobody needs to lie as much as he does to his Customers. I feel that if you are Honest then your Customers will Understand. As For NFS your Back Window got Taking care of by Brian at American Motorsports and the BS of you still Complaining about it is just plain Stupid. As for the issues for Magikbean562, The brake issue you had was due to the spindle issues that he had to work through but still not right for him to send you on the way with messed up brakes and someone else hubs off another truck at his shop and have you pay for them and not inform you on what he was doing. He was going through a lot with his personal life(no excuses) but he had many different employees working for him and that's why the welding and things were missed. Again there is no excuses for this besides the owner and he should take full responsibility for this and not blame it on his employees that work for him. Look for anyone else that is looking to get a kit.... its a good kit that needs mods done because its not perfect but be careful and be prepared to wait for your truck to be finished cause he goes where the money is to pay for his bills and projects take awhile and your truck might get pushed back longer then you may want. Thats all i have to say about this issue!!!!!!!!!!!!Oh and also shady that he throws former employees under the bus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see you live close, or in the same area as he does, just wondering how you have such info, and trying to establish credibility.

Alright, sorry guys. No more thread jack from me, I just laugh my ass off when grammar gets corrected. FWIW, I think it is cool that American Motorsports responded, regardless of outcomes/blames...

I wasn't exactly trying to bash AMS or Brian. High road a little honestly and in my view, I didn't say a negative word. Just throwing out more of why I'm in this thread and interested in it. My only real comment was that bad business is bad business.

I know all about how Steven and I's deal went down, lol. Yup, it took awhile.

I was fully understanding of about every angle you can bring up cause I work on cars to. But ya' gotta understand (understanding a 2 way street), $1300+ is a lot of money, to see completely nothing for 7 months and then can't get a hold of ya when my parts are laying in your shop. I was always cool with the timeframe, just hated the feeling ignored thing, and after I had seen AMS be active while not replying back to me.

Window did get taken care off. Never complained after the guy fixed it the 2nd time (deathrunner not complaining just stating it was broken there. And he was up in arms about it saying it came in that way at first)

As did the angle causing the vibes. The lower shock mounts were moved in once. YOU said that its normal for the shock to rub and I shouldnt redo it since you figured I would be linking before too long.

Never mentioned the tire holder, but since you went there the tires were labeled the same size but evidently werent. NOT YOUR FAULT. I paid for the fix and no complaint. But if I get a flat the tire falls right out the bottom. There is nothing holding them in except the air pressure.

The tailights arent lined up at all. They are just stuck in the hole and bolted in.
