You're welcome. Stating someone was killed BECAUSE they wore a helmet is along the same lines as stating someone was killed because they wore their seat belt. It may have happened, but it is a statistical anomaly. Calling names, stating hyperbole and urban legend as fact is a time honored internet tradition you uphold well. Anytime we are on the road we are playing the odds, I wear a helmet because I prefer better odds.

Quoted from here. But don't let facts interfere with your ranting.

"During 2008–2010, a total of 14,283 motorcyclists were killed in crashes, among whom 6,057 (42%) were not wearing a helmet. In the 20 states with a universal helmet law, 739 (12%) fatally injured motorcyclists were not wearing a helmet, compared with 4,814 motorcyclists (64%) in the 27 states with partial helmet laws and 504 (79%) motorcyclists in the three states without a helmet law (Figure 1)."

YOU wear a helmet because YOU prefer the odds. Does someone not wearing a helmet affect you in any way? No. Don't take away someones freedom because you care to much.

Exactly the way I wish everyone would think.

Helmets suck anyways, they make it hard to smoke while your riding.

Now that I think of it, I do think I remember reading something about helmets increasing neck injurries.

Maybe the guys that dont wear helmets just want to die if they have a bad crash, not be dependant on somebody to care for them the rest of their days because there head is the only thing that didnt get mangled up

Finally got a seat cover for my bench seat. Took a while to find one that wasn't camo and didn't break the bank. Cabela's for 25 bucks!

Better get in on the ECGS group buy and get some lockers :). I haven't had to much of an issue with the 265's. With proper spotting, stacking rocks, and picking good lines I have managed to not get to banged up.
