What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Finally got my wheels and also got around to installing my grill and lights. Now I have real truck!

 

I like it!!! I'm thinking about doing my roof like that.

 

Grill with lights behind it.

 

Drove it 900 miles, 14 hours with a stop for dinner.

Thanks! I'm gonna do the roof today hopefully. Got to get this surface rust off my sliders and get them put on as well!

 

Swapped out my u bolts with shorter ones and lubed up my leafs got rid of the squeak for now.

 

I painted the 4X4 on the mudflap.

I masked off the 4X4



Then applied four coats of Krylon.

 

After sitting in the garage drinking beer, staring at the rain and the truck I decided to take all 5 chrome badges off the paint. Nearly cut my fingers of with fishing line, I got them all off though.

Washing this thing after going off roading is going to be a breeze now that those damn badges are gone.

Gave it a bath... the redneck pinstriping and wheels are very shiny now

 

Very nice. Are you running a stock suspension and what size tire ?

Plastidipped my ugly stock Tacoma rims! Also flexed the hell out of the stock suspension xD

 

The seal is leaking? I have had that happen off and on and I just make sure to keep the diff full

 

It's a steady drip, seal is poop....

 

Also used mine.

 

Is it both sides? When I had that issue the dealer had to replace the front differential.

 

Changed the oil and put new non corroding battery terminals on.... Now I'm just tinkering with it
