Mt Rainier / Olympia Trip

Anyone live in the Mt Rainier or Olympia area in Washington?

If so both this weekend and next week were getting about 10 rigs including myself to go camping and wheeling in the national park near Mt Rainier. PM me if youre interested.

 

I was up there on McChord AFB for a few days a while back. Really nice looking area.

 

Wish I would have seen this earlier. Maybe next time.

 

I live in Seattle, and would love to come join, but alas for work.

This upcoming weekend were heading out again I think, we found a nice OHV park called Elbe Hill.. its in Eatonville/ Ashford on the way to Mt Rainier. Unfortunatly we had to come back early due to the TJ with us breaking and the frontier almost snapping the driveshaft. If anyone is interested, PM me and we'll coordinate this.

 

Doubtful, but if the main trails on where you guys are going are pre-runner friendly I might be in (e-locker and a tow strap). I'm outside of Portland right now...

 

Yeah, that probably would be a bit difficult. There were points on these trails where I had opposite wheels from my front and rear just barley contacting with the ground and had to back up a few times. 4LO was almost a must for the most part. The trails themselves say "Passable with most 4WD vehicles, 31-35" tires recommended..."

It seems the weather this weekend might not be great yay.. Washington.

I'll mostlikely be going this weekend and I'm thinking maybe we should plan this 3+ weeks out for you guys that are interested in going but are unable to due to short notice, any comments?
