im so fucking drained. got a complete sas and rear leaf swap done on a 2nd gen 4 runner in 16 hour.. time for a vaca then back to work to get ready for this Vaca

I'm coming up from so cal but were are leaving a couple days early and making our way through Utah for a couple days.

 

I know. Makes me angry. Throws it into a river rather than turning it in. I bet it probably broke when he threw it.

But I think on a good note it was a local who did it. The locals were blaming tourists.

 

Dude that thing drove in there that morning and was back on it's own weight again that night! Was pretty intense! Cut the linked rear off and IFS off and threw it out the shop and had the new axles on it in about the same amount of time it took to cut the old ones off!

I took the plasma to it some. Was kind of fun, but sucks when some of the slag goes down your sleeves!! Cutting a flat sheet is a lot easier that cutting shit at odd angles. Didn't help that the whole front end was coated in all kinds of fluid so I would cut an inch and then use the plas to blow out the fire and then cut an inch and blow out the fire and so on. haha

 

yeah he'll have to finnish the other stuff himself im taking off to disneyland this coming saturday and ill be gone till the following saturday. It'll be a nice little break from all the fab work.
