    see how its kind of like a ladder going over the back section? I would do just that part with an X basically right behind the back window. would feel a lot more comfortable getting myself into precarious spots

    What would be your attachment points? Basically just up and over the cab on both sides connecting the sliders and then across the back glass as well?

    ya. exactly. at the sliders, some cross pieces bracing the 2 pieces, then the x would probably tie to the frame. could of course be added onto at a later date.

    i like how that one basically eliminates a bumper and just has a place for a winch, i would love to do that too down the road, for maximum approach angle

    Hmm, that would be pretty cool.... Now you've got me wanting to do something like that. Years down the road of course! Haha

    I'd do exactly that, tie it into the bed rack, and make a roof rack out of it as well.

    see incorporating it into the bed rack would be dumb, thats something I would want removable.

    im thinking i want half exo cage to happen pre sac, then if i can follow through with mah sac then it would get a full exo cage


    but of course this all got me thinking from the close call I had today, its not like im wheeling any less dangerous stuff as time goes on, it just keeps getting worse. and the terrain out here can get pretty gnarly

    Wtf is the point of that? a half exo wouldn't save your truck even slightly if you flopped. You'd still damage the front and the cab very easily...thus..destroying the whole cab..and you'd have a worthless truck you couldn't close the doors on or put a windshield in

    burning??

    i dunno, i disagree. it wouldnt save it completley but a slow flop or falling into stuff it would still take the brunt of the damage being out away from the body

    no..haha no it wouldn't.

    Its on the back half and all it'll do its be a pivot point and help crunch the front more. Why? because the motor is up there and the front is what whats to face down. You'll just end up on the front top edge of the wind sheild like any other roll or flop.

    in other words...it would be point less.
