I struggled with this one. I know it is the same subject as last week for me, but a little bit different.

Here is my submission for this week's challenge. The moon was full this weekend and is bright enough to cast shadows so my wife and I went to a local beach to do this. Since I also missed last week's challenge, I took it from a low angle. The black and white treatment with the stars in the sky and the rocks in the foreground makes it looks like my wife is standing on Mars or another world.

I thought I was out this week without a pic but I spotted one to enter about an hour and a half ago. My son laying in bed playing on his Ipad.

Here's mine for this week, I struggled with creativity. I wanted to capture my daughter's shadow while she was navigating the Oregon Zoo map but every time I stepped back a bit to capture the moment, she'd catch on and ask what I was doing :)

    Ditto.

So many ideas and when I got into position to take the shot, it was like "meh... don't bother"
Like this morning... not so much for the competition, but I was hoping to get the moon-set behind downtown LA.
I knew my position would not be 100% ideal, but the weather didn't cooperate... 10 "wasted" shots of the moon with the 200-500 and 2x TC.

Opened up to the 200-500 alone and framed in downtown LA to catch the sunrise glinting off of the buildings. I set the interval timer for 30-second intervals and waited.
Too much haze... the marine layer screwed the shot. Rather than delete one by one, I just reformatting the SD.
