Agreed!!! You'll have the bike long enough that the extra $ (spread out over that amount of time) will seem very minimal.

If anyone's interested, here's a little video from this past Saturday's Circuit Race. I was, of course, riding my Tarmac (pictured above), with the pink handlebar tape. :)

    Too late :p

Got it 1400 out the door. The extra color scheme wasn't worth an extra 400ish after taxes.

You're going to love it! My saddle is a Selle SMP Dynamic. I've had the Lite 209 too and it's just like the Dynamic but more padding. They're good saddles.

That's my brothers bike. I need to adjust a few things like a smaller saddle and shorter stem. Still getting use to the bike

Hey, does that shot happen to be crossing thru George Bush park in west Houston? Looks like it. If you are local to Houston area, let me know. I have one or 3 road stems laying around in the 90-100mm range, black, + or - 6 degree. Also got a coupla seats that were too "small" for me you might be interested in also.

Nice looking bikes! Did you decide against the cobble-gobbler seatpost? Still liking the bike? :)

Wish we had had some better weather this past weekend. Still got in the Spring Fever Rally up in Sulphur Springs though. Was a good ride and only got (slightly) rained on a couple times.

You have a good eye...it sure is! My bike shop ordered me a stem I just haven't had a chance to pick it up. What kind of saddles do you have?

I am running a Specialized Toupe (146) and I don't feel comfortable. I also have a Fizik Arione R3 130 that I'm going to slap on and see how I feel.

I did :( I needed a seat-post with more of a setback and went with a FSA. I was putting too much pressure on my knees. They were hurting..

Yea this weekend was not great. I did tour de houston with my brother and father. It's a tradition for us and we got rained on! My dad is getting older so he tends to ride slower and shorter miles and never wants to do any.

Looks like it will rain this weekend too.

I still do! I don't regret getting it. I just need to put some miles in and get my endurance back up.

I have an FSA carbon thing, a fiziik tundra 2, the specialized BG that came on my Allez Sport, a forte pro cutout thing & probably a couple more. I will pull them out of my saddle box and shoot a pic of them for ya......

That green origin 8 is heavy compared to the others and was for a lime green cafe racer thing, the FSA has carbon shell and skin on it basically, the forte pro sl is light and OK, the Fiziik came off my $3200 mt bike - it is light and was swapped for a WTB that I have on most of my mtb bikes - dunno about it's longterm comfort but is light and cool looking, and the BG is OK too. Not much butt time on any of these at all so none of them are probably even broke in and none have scuffs or damage. I ended up going with an avatar gel cutout black/silver seat on my Allez. Lemme know if any are of interest and I can take more pics

^ I have head fizik makes some awesome saddles that people move from one bike to the next, so i am guessing they are long lasting.

When its time for me to get a new saddle I am looking into them, but my money tree it recuperating from a hard February...stupid bike :D

I was tilting my saddle down and forgot to tighten it back. So when i picked up my bike it rattled and I didn't notice it got put pretty much all the way forward.

about 50 miles later my knees were done. Made some food, showered, and went to cool down before going to study and my knees were like "nope". They ached for a few days....I also did a heavy day of squat/cleans before that ride.

I was wondering why I seemed to just drive it home with ever pedal stroke. :p

But, I am thoroughly impressed with the caad10. If the shop would of had an e5 or sworks allez in my size, I would have looked at that as well.

Can't say I'm a fan of the fizik arione vs I tried. Rode with it for nearly 1.1k miles this year and it caused some saddle sore issues. Swapped it back out for a wtb volt. Finally got a proper fit and a new saddle that came with it. I forget what BG/Specialized model it is, but look forward to trying it out.
