Took a glance at your picture and didn't realize it was your crank seal area. I have to wait as well, since they don't have the parts in stock.

Sorry for not being clear. No tsb for timing cover but tsb for my brakes. My brakes squeak/squeal when approaching very slowly to a complete stop.

Just FYI, I have a tacoma and a yaris. The yaris has this brake squeal/squeal. It has had it for a long time. No matter how many times you take it to the dealer. All they are going to do is clean the dust off. There is nothing that can be done. I inquired about my tacoma brakes as I do not have the squeak yet only 6k in mileage. (dealer says around 15K is when they see it in the tacomas)

Two different dealers have both stated all they are going to do is clean them. It is something that happens with toyotas with drum brakes. I had the rear brakes done on my yaris about 5k miles ago and the squeal is coming back depending on the weather. The hotter the weather the louder the noise.

Just FYI I have 170K on the yaris. works great just that dam brake squeal.

Interesting. My dealer didn't mention anything about cleaning them but actually replacing parts. I attached the TSB and it stated that they replaced the shoes, drums, and gasket. Not sure about the yaris though

I had this TSB performed on my 2012 last Friday, all I did was state that my brakes would squeal when I was almost stopped and they replaced the drums, shoes, gasket like stated above and TSB.
