808's SLOW build

Aloha everybody,

This is my build and it's gonna be a slow one
Plenty of awesome trucks here. I always wanted a sport 4x4 and so I convinced my fiance to let me sell my frontier and well I ordered and waited a month for mine to come in!

Sold March 2013:


Picked up my brand spankin new 2013 white double cab short bed sport! Took it home and installed some sweet sidesteps (mostly to help prevent people hitting their doors into mine and easier to detail ).

Then I applied the Klasse sealant and wow it's awesome!


Never had a 4x4 before so wanted to test it out a bit at Oahu's infamous Kaena Point.


Got it tinted 30% up front and 20% on the back windows.. Nice and clean after playing in the mud..

For the bed mat, i went on Amazon and ordered 2 DeeZee heavy duty bed mats "DZ86964" one for my truck(just used a razor to cut it to size) and one for my dad's 6ft bed. It was $66 bucks with free shipping to hawaii. It works for me, nothing slides around anymore!
Just an cheaper option for you if your interested.

Right on guys.. Djspec, missed ya on Saturday man! I was the only white truck there... Actually I called my salesman to see what kind of discount he'd be willing to give me and well he just gave it to me lol

 

haha i was so busy with school filming and then my uncles birthday dinner. Ill be done with college in 2 weeks! whoo!

ahahaha good shit! the dealer one is thicker, heavier, and nicer. the DeeZee one is good enough. lol

 

Congrats bro! I just went back last semester at KCC trying to get into the nursing program, but its pretty competitive!

usually just cruise near shore on my dad's boat, either hawaii kai or sand island side. I have more fun doing that then chasing birds.

Past weekend installed 5100's set at 1.75" with a 1" rear block. Sits and rides a lot better.

Next was 5 coats of plasti dip on the front emblem and debadged everything and put a trd emblem on the tailgate.. looking nice and clean

 

i wish my salesman gave me a bed mat. he barely wanted to give me my truck!

 

Wow I would have gone to a different salesman sorry you had a bad experience.. My salesman I was referred to and he's a cool guy, Henry I dont remember his last name tho lol

Yesterday was the first time I got to test out the new 5100s, much better ride.

 

Installed the grillcraft mesh this past Friday thanks to fellow TW member for helping out.. Def recommend ait being a 2 person job. Took a couple hours.. Also put the G Tek sill protectors in. Awesome high quality, def recommended. I'll get pics up of it later on..
