    Yeah OK buddy.
    What a saint you are.
Good luck ruining the suspension on your "perfect" Tacoma.

Lol @ people implying a mass produced vehicle less than 10 years old is hard to find in any condition.
There have been literally MILLIONS of Tacomas produced. They ain't rare.

You seem like an angry or extremely critical person which is strange since you laugh out loud so often. OMG LOL

Hey OP, since you are actually going to haul some weight getting new leafs that have a lesser pay load rating isn't real smart. With any weight in the bed you'll still be doing the nose in the air thing, which you're wanting to avoid. You should stick with OEM or get some new leaf packs rated a little higher. I know you're wanting a soft feel in the back but since your leafs are shot now its pry the softest feel your pickup will ever have, even if ya get the "soft ride" springs you mentioned those would pry ride a little harsher than whatcha got now. As for removing the fat bottom overload spring? Don't! Removing it could cause the main leaf to overextend and break! Which woukd likely happen since the oem's are so weak. No bueno! I think no matter what you'll have a bumpy ride with a leaf spring, its just the nature of the beast.

    Ahh old thread.....wtf...

Find your favorite soft ride rear springs and add a set of air bags to the rear. When you need to haul weight,...just add air.
