buddies dad had a double cab with the 4.6 IMHO it was a bit under powered and kinda sluggish. i think it’s to small of an engine for the size of truck. but that was just mine and my buddies options.

i have seen it. been a while though. probably helps that both my brothers are 30+

they all ways let me watch movies/tv shows and play video games mom and dad did not want me playing or watching. they would just make me promise not to tell. I remember watching the 6th sense when it came out. gone in 60 seconds as well, thats also probably my all time #1 favorite car movie beating all the fast and furious movies and the new need for speed movie.

i remember watching one of the 1st scary movies. old school, tommy boy, god i don’t even remember them all.

oh and american pie. lol watching that when i was idk 10 or so.

I remember that movie VERY well! Only because my dad used to really be into home audio, and when he would have people over at the house, he would always play the first 10 minutes of the movie where goose and maverick are in the plane fighting against the other one.

And he used to friggen blast that as loud as it would go! It was freaking amazing... And yes, it was on VHS...

the hell with all of you!!! my brother in law could have passed as goose's twin when he and my sister were dating. we even called him goose and said he had maverick's bike and needed to give it back cuz he rode around on a crotch rocket. further more i had a jacket that my down traveled all over the midwest to find patches for so that it could resemble maverick's flight jacket as close as possible, my mom still has it to this day all vacuum sealed and stuff.

i still believe that the best genre of music was from pretty much around 96 or 97 to about 02 or 03, seemed like every time you turned on the radio a new song the was really good had just came out and was on for the first time, instead of now. where you have the same 6 or 7 songs that arent even that good but keep getting cycled over and over all day long. the alternative scene was just sooooooo much better, you had BNL, 311, smashing pumpkins, nirvana, foo fighters, green day (before the drama), live, fuel, tantric, creed (before the crap), harvey danger, sublime, and so on and so forth to just name a couple. hell even limp bizkit's first stuff was leaps and bounds better than most of today's crap.

yeah i agree. i think about ’05 ot so they just started playing the same 6 to 10 songs and playing the same song 5 times in one hour.

green day, nirvana where also good. i have both on my ipod.

I'm a metalhead :headbang: I prefer the thrash metal "sub-genre" if you will..... old school Metallica, Megadeth, Testament, Anthrax, Slayer, etc. I also am a big fan of progressive metal bands like Dream Theater and Symphony X.

well i have slowly but surely ventrued into the "metalcore" genre because the so called "rock" that is out now is a bit too light for my taste. i was rockin some metallica back in the day, and justice for all, ride the lightning, master of puppets and then the black album... but honestly it seems a bit too hair for me now... even though what i like or should i say settle for now adays is almost scream-o and a mix of dubstep and metal... like asking alexandria and amity affliction and so on...

seems like FFDP is a lot more interested in writing ballads lately then the hard ripping guitars and insanely fast drums that got them famous... i actually went to see them in the very early 2000's when they were less than famous and were playing little tiny clubs... saw them while i was working out of town in Auburn at a little local college club. bet it only fit about 100 people in it.

Hahaha I do too. I watched tron on vhs the other day just to see the difference in video quality. I also recently bought a Raggedy Ann and Andy vhs that I loved as a kid. I may have paid too much for it but oh well. Haha and, like most older cartoons, it's fuckin crazy as hell. Def drugs made that movie

So new coilovers, new uca's, lower ball joints and wheel bearings all set for this weekend along with spindles. If non of that works. Just found out my steering rack is covered under warranty since it's not directly touched by the lift. So in the next few weeks I will have a brand new truck suspension wise damn it. Rant over.
