Anyone up for a bit of an adventure run on Sunday? Was thinking about doing the Mojave Trail from Barstow to either Basin road or Rasor Road or even Zzyzx Rd where you can cut back to the 15 freeway and head back home. It's about a 25 to 35 mile run. If we do it quick enough maybe we can make the run back to Barstow the way we came. It all depends on time for most people.
I'd like to leave Socal early Sunday around 7am if possible. Maybe meet at Peggy Sue's at 830 and be on the move no later than 9am.
I'd like to say that race radios are a must. We can get pretty spread out and i'd hate to lose someone in the middle of the mojave.
I have some gpx and kml files of the route if anyone is interested PM me.

This is pretty much wide open high speed desert shit. No rock krawlin! Real nice views as you haul ass thru the Mojave river...its kind of like a mini grand canyon at points.

    Any takers?

    Map of route
