No. The energy would just transfer up the traction bar instead of through the leaf springs. (in fact streetracer types spend money on traction bars to increase this effect- http://store.kennybrown.com/product...s-2005-2014-mustang-boss-302-and-shelby-gt500 ) If you made the traction bar long enough, you wouldn't get the "lifting" effect. Personally, I like it. It pushes the tires down into the traction.

There is a part you have to take off the stock fenders. I just drill thr spot welds and than bolt to the fiberglass fenders. But you don't have the stock fenders to do so

might be because of that... iirc shock mounts are better off on the front side of the axle because they help resist the rotational force of the axle and pinion lifting. sounds like since yours are that far off the back, theyre helping it twist like that?

Still affects it. It just makes the affects twice as bad. He needs to bump up the rebound. Normally leaf springs run very light rebound, but with cantilever, it takes that valving and cuts it in half. Put a 15 stack on the rebound, and do a full 20 stack on compression, but progressively double stack it. 20/12, 20/12, 20/15, 20/15, 20/20, 20/20

what would be suggested for my tacoma, as far as rear spring rates ? 22 gallon cell, single 35" spare. i believe im 250 over 350 or 375 now, and with 2 fat guys in it, we are at 3" before i hit my bumps. soft as shit. i dunst dont want to over spring and have it kick hard. i do know i need to slow my rebound and compression down a bit also.

    2 coilvers to 1 axle...

the fuck if i know ! at droop they are just about 90 degrees. unless you mean travel#vs.shock travel. then its damn close to 2-1. 28" out of a 14" shock.

It's got a 15 stack on comp and an 8 stack on rebound. It had a ten on rebound but it would pack in the whoops so I went with the 8 stack. The axle wrap (whatever it's called that's happening) didn't change at all and now it's a little beter in the whoops. I see how a slower rebound would help in my situation but worried about how it would handle in the whoops with a 15 stack.

Sounds like you need more like 300/400. since you already have a 350 try that over a 400.

350 is a 16" spring, 250 is a 12". correct me if im wrong, but springs hold up the truck, and the valving takes care of compression, and rebound (to a certain extent) correct ? so if i figure out what springs will hold the truck up , with out going over kill, then my valving should take care of the rest, yes ?

I wish it was that simple. Springs play a pretty big roll in how a truck handles. Luckily on a link setup where you are running really light rates its way less drastic. But to answer you question yeah just get the coils close then focus on the valving.... I got some 14" 700lbs if you need them ha
