Picked it up about a month ago with 113K miles on it. First owner had it for 17K. A lady bought it as a certified pre-owned and kept it until 68K, then she sold it to her son. I bought it from the son.

Code P1135 when I bought it so I changed the sensor to pass emissions. Changed the water pump, timing belt, idler pulleys, plugs, belts, hoses, etc. Running like a champ!

I'm going to scuff and repaint the wheels (as soon as it warms up outside!) since they're kind of chewed up. I'm loving it so far. I've had Toyotas for years, here's a bit of my history....

    1993 ex-cab V-6, 5 speed. 4 inch lift on 33's.

Then I moved on to a 6 inch Trailmaster and 35's.

I don't plan on doing a lot to the new ride. I put in a double DIN Pioneer this weekend. Front tint, new speakers and painting the new wheels will follow. Possibly a new frame in the future as it's pretty rough and I'm covered until September of 2016. (Yes, I checked prior to buying it! It was originally purchased 9/01)

Lots of good info, I'll post more updates.

Funny you ask, because I never really thought about it before.

I sold the green 93 to my father in 2004. He kept it a few years and sold it to get his 2004 Rubicon.

I sold the 1997 Tacoma to an old high school friend in 2009. He still owns (and LOVES) the truck.

I sold the 2000 4Runner to a really good friend in early 2013 when we bought the new 4Runner. It's his daily driver and he loves it.

The 1985 is the only one that strayed. It was purchased by a young man in Louisiana who kept it less than a year. It now lives in Texas and has a brand new 22RE in it.

And you're right, let's see if I can leave the 2001 alone. Heck, I just put a set of Level 8 MK6 on the 2013 Trail the other day. I can't leave anything alone, but I think I'm in good company!

I want to see you the mod your work car!

As for the truck, that is a nice, clean, blank canvas for you.

    Let the artistry begin....

There are definitely some unique touches on the work car, but we'll leave that alone!

Yeah, I've already had some ideas. Time will tell, but I'll keep you updated.

Oh don't worry about that, it will!

I thought I was happy with my truck when it had 5100's all around, All-Pro bumpers, sliders, and skids. Now I am long travel and have spent more than I care to admit.

I'm storing it for occasional use. I wouldn't have bought one, but it was a nice bonus that it came with one. It's an ARE and it's in pretty good shape.
